Elton Arends

Originally raised in his father’s offset printing company, Elton was exposed to creative work from an early age. Creativity is second nature to him, and it’s no surprise that he graduated in the United States with a degree in Advertising Design.

Elton has more than 20 years of experience in advertising and design. After working for and owning his own agencies in Aruba, he went on to study Communication in the Netherlands and worked as a creative and art director for agencies in Rotterdam and Baarn.

When he returned to Aruba, he was hired by the Aruban government as a communications specialist to join their “think tank” team, which later became the Bureau of Innovation. He is an entrepreneur and inventor-director at Canal 90FM, and has served as chairman of the boards of TEDx Aruba and co-founder of the 360 Degrees of Innovation Foundation.
