BIO
Ignas van Schaick began his career as a publisher at Staats Uitgeverij and has been active in the media industry for more than 30 years. He has extensive experience in developing cross-media concepts and e-commerce. In the Netherlands, he was responsible for the home entertainment operations of brands such as BBC and Discovery Channel for several years and later served as publisher at National Geographic and the science magazine Quest.
After making his debut as a filmmaker with "The New Wilderness", he created several successful films about Dutch nature that reached audiences worldwide. Through EMS FILMS, in collaboration with director Mark Verkerk, he produces films that captivate and inspire, created with respect, quality, and care. These films will outlast trends in the media world because they begin with the power of storytelling.
In 2020, together with Jeffrey de Graaff and Gerben Kuipers, he founded the M&N Media Group to manage not only production and marketing but also the full process of concept development, from idea to realization.
