BIO
Sarah Gauthier is a Canadian scuba diving instructor, underwater filmmaker, and ocean advocate dedicated to protecting marine environments by bringing them to life through her lens. Originally from Québec, Canada, she fell in love with diving early in her adult life and eventually turned that passion into purpose.
Driven by the plastic pollution she encountered on dives around the world, Sarah undertook an ambitious mission to dive on all seven continents to highlight the beauty of underwater ecosystems and inspire others to care for the oceans—a journey she documented extensively to raise awareness about marine conservation.
Her work captures everything from tropical reefs to the icy waters of Antarctica, where she has filmed in extreme conditions to show viewers the wonders that exist beneath the surface. By sharing her experiences and imagery on social media and in articles like “Taking the Plunge Against Plastic”, Sarah encourages people to fall in love with the underwater world and reconsider their relationship with single-use plastics.
