Thomas Welle

As a young boy cycling to school, Thomas regularly passed through the Dutch Mediapark, home to many of the country’s major media companies. Fascinated by the studios, satellite dishes, and production offices, he pursued this interest during his studies with an internship as a production assistant for a Dutch travel television show.

After completing his studies, Thomas worked as a producer for several shows and companies at the Mediapark. As the media landscape shifted toward digital, he moved from Hilversum to Amsterdam and worked for multiple digital media agencies, focusing mostly on the commercial side and developing client relationships. Following time in both Amsterdam and Rotterdam, he and his family relocated to Aruba, where his wife took a position at the local hospital.

In Aruba, Thomas was looking for opportunities to do more work with a positive impact. He joined the team behind WOW! The Nature Film, where he now applies his (digital) media, production and sales experience to develop partnerships that promote a positive image of the Dutch Caribbean. These collaborations are designed not only to support the film but also to create meaningful benefits for the islands and their communities.
